Now everyone can have what the Duchess of Cambridge and Countess of Wessex are having, with the opening of milliner Jane Taylor’s flagship ready-to-wear store in Chelsea.
Situated on London’s fashionable Kings Road, the contemporary boutique is an extension of Taylor’s much sought-after style – elegant, timeless and inspired. “I have personally created and project managed the development of my new and exclusive boutique which offers bespoke pieces along with ready-to-wear hats for every occasion,” says the celebrated artisan, whose work has graced the pages of such glossies as Vogue, Elle, Tatler and Harper’s Bazaar. “The shop is in such a perfect location, we have had a really positive response to our presence from local residents and international visitors alike. We are busy preparing to spend our first summer season in Chelsea in 2016.”
Taylor’s celebrity clientele includes pop stars Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith and Coco Rocha; model Kate Moss and edgy royal Zara Phillips. In 2014, her hats were worn by actress Kate Winslet in the film Little Chaos also starring Alan Rickman. HRH Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge has chosen Taylor creations for such grand occasions as the christening of son, baby George; Trooping of the Colour and royal tours of Australia and New Zealand. Meanwhile, HRH Sophie, The Countess of Wessex, a loyal customer for many years, has worn a total of 33 Jane Taylor hats.
