Graphic Designer

We’re currently seeking a Graphic Designer who is a creative thinker and effective problem solver. The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating professional, compelling designs for print and digital media, including magazine ads, catalogs, flyers, product packaging, emails, social and web assets. The Graphic Designer needs to be results-oriented, organized and committed to flawless execution. In addition, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-conscious and possess the ability to consistently design, produce and complete incoming production requests on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and produce engaging promotion collateral, email designs, product packaging and other printed and digital materials for AccuQuilt based on creative briefs
  • Produce print projects with pre-press knowledge using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Write specifications for printing as well as coordinate with printing vendors, including review of proofs as needed
  • Ensure continuity, look-and-feel and adherence to branding standards in company’s visual communications
  • Determine the best arrangement of design elements, including style and size of type, use of product and lifestyle photography, to create effective design solutions using knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts as well as brand standards
  • Create compelling design concepts, artwork and layout for multi-channel and integrated marketing efforts
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing or other similar degree required

• Minimum 1-2 years of graphic design experience with a strong knowledge of up-to-date, innovative concepts, practices and
procedures within the graphic design field;

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience designing for Email and Social Media

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience designing for multi-channel marketing activities with the demonstrated ability to establish and apply consistent use of the brand guidelines;

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize workload to meet deadlines

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in prepping files for print

• Strong attention to detail and able to follow a creative brief

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience with a project management tool

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Advanced knowledge of all Adobe Creative Cloud design programs

• Flexible and adaptable

• Solid understanding of Responsive Design, Market Design and UX/UI.

• Experience with web development and design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Cross-browser considerations) a plus
