Claire Spooner is a professional freelance milliner with a studio at Newby Hall, North Yorkshire.
Under her label “Quaintrelle“, Claire designs and makes for private clients with special occasions and period hats for theatre. Claire enjoys sharing her passion for hats through talks, demonstrations and workshops.
Courses offered include:
Marvellous Millinery – an introduction to blocking a cocktail hat.
Fabulous Fascinators – sinamay and feathers on a headband or comb.
Feather Corsages – feathers mounted on a broochpin/croc clip.
Silk Flowers – French silk flowers using flower irons & tools.
Shoe clips – feathers, fabric and/or ribbon designs on shoeclips.
