Knit Simple is making a design submission call for its Spring/Summer 2019 magazine and the deadline for submission is 10th of September 2018.

Knit Simple Design Call for Spring/Summer 2019
Dear Designers,
We are planning ahead and asking for your submissions for Knit Simple Spring/Summer ’19, having put together the following stories for your review as inspiration:
FOR THE KIDS
Watermelon themed (colored) items, sweaters, pillows, blankets, bags, etc.
WOMEN’S SUMMER CARDIS
Simple designs, easy-fit. There will be a workshop on finishing details-buttonholes, sewing on buttons, picking up stitches, etc.
SCARVES, COWLS AND SHAWLS
All using light-weight yarns
HOME DEC-SPRING FLOWERS
Flower-themed items for the home, knit-in flower motifs, flowers worked separately (knit or crochet) as embellishments, etc.
BUNNY BABIES
Sweaters and accessories for the baby, pretty pastels, with bunny accents
E-mail your submissions as pdf, jpg, or doc attachments to designsub@sohopublishing.com with “KS S/S 19″ in the subject line. Please keep your submissions to a maximum of 2 pages and 2MB per design idea. Be sure that your name and contact information is listed on each page.
Please note that we will only contact you if your design is chosen. However, if your design is not chosen for this issue, it will be held for future consideration.
The deadline for all submissions will be September 10th with reminder prompts sent periodically to include any trend or story changes we might like to incorporate.
