Superhuman warriors! Terrifying and yet beautiful monsters! When it comes to their depiction in movies and games, we look to myths that have been handed down for thousands or even tens of thousands of years.
We’ve chosen “Myths and Mythology” as the theme of our 21st International Illustration Contest! Do you have a favorite traditional myth or legend you would like to draw?
Have you ever felt that your cultural folklore is underrepresented? Show us, and the world, what you love most about those stories through your art!
The grand prize winner will receive 200,000 JPY (approx. US$1,840)! We can’t wait to see your creative interpretations of the theme.

Submissions will appear in date order in the Facebook album and the winners will be decided by a judging panel.
