This month of January 2019 our theme is “loud it with celebrations of cardmakers and papercrafters”.
Cardmakers and papercrafters have transformed how we look at a piece of paper now.
“Give me a paper and see what I can do with it” is a saying I do tell myself whenever I take a look at a paper.
Sometimes when I see a cardstock or paper different ideas rush through my mind. I do have that anxiety about the things that I can turn this paper into.
The creativity that can be derived from a paper is exciting.
Give a piece of paper to a card-maker or paper-crafter and you can’t imagine what they will transform it into.
If you can access their information or creativity with paper, you will be so astonish at the artwork they have made using paper.
Now, I look at paper differently everytime I see one.
Before I got into the world of card-making and paper-crafting, I only appreciate greeting cards and origami.
When I see children playing with paper folding to create guessing games, paper boat, animals and more, memories of break-time during primary school comes flooding my mind.
This month we will be sharing lots of papercrafting ideas and celebrating papercrafters. If we can’t fit every papercrafter in this month, we will extend it till the year ends since we are celebrating careers this year.
If you have a papercrafter that you want us to give a shout-out to, then put their Instagram page, Twitter page or Facebook page in the comment section(you can be anonymous on the comment section to do that) and we will celebrate them with you. *Also note that they(the papercrafter) should not be infringing on anyone’s copyright.
