Let’s celebrate our theme “say it with birds and blossoms” for this month of May by making a greeting card embellished with die-cut floral foliage in a vase.

Materials needed

Die-cutting and embossing machine with its cutting plates

Liquid glue- UHU

Cardstock- Purple, Green, White,

Pearlescent white cardstock,

8-inch greeting card

Large Square dies- Tattered Lace

Flourish sentiment dies- Tattered Lace

Vase die – Sweet Serenity Crystal Glass by Tattered Lace

Blissful blooms die by Tattered Lace

Rainbow Floral Bouquet by Tattered Lace

 

 

Step 1: Die-cut squares from the purple, green and white cardstock.

Layer these squares and glue together. Glue the layered squares to the front of the Eight-inch greeting card.

 

Step 2: Die-cut the vase from the pearlescent white card. Curl the vase and then glue the edges of the vase to the front of the mat and layered Eight- inch card, leaving an opening to place the foliage into the vase.

 

 

Step 3: Die-cut floral foliage from green, white and purple cardstock.

 

Step 4: Put glue on the stem of each floral foliage and then put them in the vase.

 

Step 5: Die cut sentiments from the purple cardstock and then glue to the front of the card. You can make a small envelope if you desire and then glue a die-cut sentiment to the front of the envelope. Place the envelope in the vase.
