Madrid Hat Exhibition ends on the 28th January 2018.
Museo del Traje -The National Costume Museum in Madrid is hosting a temporary hat exhibition called SOMBREALISMO: Sombreros en clave surrealista.
The exhibition which consists of 30 hats made by 19 members of the Spanish Milliners’ Association were all inspired by the Surrealist movement.
“SOMBREALISMO is a made-up word, a combination of Sombrero (hat) and Surrealismo (Surrealism),” says Spanish Milliners’ Association member Cristina de Prada. “A good translation would be ‘SOMBREALISMO.
The exhibition is taking place at the Museo del Traje in Madrid until 28 January.
