Erica bottger on Using Your Go! Serendipity Set by Edytar sitar with Embroidery

The GO! Qube Specialty Set – Serendipity by Edyta Sitar has a great embroidery CD that includes seven designs with three different stitching options: satin, blanket, and motif. The CD also includes the following 11 embroidery formats: art, dst, exp, hus, jef, jef+, pes, sew, vip, vp3, xxx. On the DVD that comes with the set, our very own Erica Bottger gives you an embroidery tutorial on Edyta’s GO! Little Butterfly.

When making this little butterfly, the first step is to put your embroidery CD into a computer and then save the design to your flash drive. You’ll want to make sure to save the design in the format your embroidery machine uses.

Erica chose two different fabric prints to make up the body of the butterfly. She also used the blanket stitch to finish off her design.

A couple of things to remember …

  • Choose a good stabilizer. There are plenty of them on the market.
  • Use the fold method to mark your center or use the marking on the hoop. You could also just use a pin.
  • Make sure the stabilizer is nice and taut and then tighten it on the hoop.

Here’s a glimpse of the embroidery tips you’ll find on the DVD that comes with Serendipity by Edyta Sitar!
