Our friends at Stylecraft are looking for help from you, the wonderful knitting public, to choose the new colours in its Special Aran and Special Chunky yarns.
Special DK has a palette of more than 80 shades, a great starting place to choose the new Special Aran and Special Chunky shades as Annabelle Hill, Sales and Marketing Director of Stylecraft explains: ”We know how popular the shades are in Special DK, so it makes sense to choose from the DK palette to go into Special Aran & Chunky. But which ones to choose? We have been racking our brains and decided that we would ask knitters and crocheters to help.”
Throughout February Stylecraft will be calling for nominations on their Facebook page, so now you will have the opportunity to let them know your favourite shade to go into the Special Aran & Chunky range. On Mother’s Day Stylecraft will launch a poll featuring the 12 most popular colours nominated and then it will be up to you to vote for your favourite. Just six colours will make it, so be sure to have your say before 31st March 2016!

The new shades will be launched in both Aran and Chunky in October 2016.
The voting details will be posted over on the Stylecraft Facebook page soon – so head over there to let them know which of your favourite Special DK shades you’d like to knit with in Aran and Chunky weights. Don’t forget to click “like over on their page” so that you’ll see the poll when it’s up.
