This is a great opportunity to get your patterns published! If you would like to showcase your knitting or crochet designs (multiple submissions are encouraged) please complete the Release Form below and attach or email your images to submissions@crochetpatternaday.com. Make sure your email has your name and phone number on it should we have any questions. Entries for the 2017 calendars must be received by October 2, 2015, 10:00 pm EST.

*** If you submit your pattern by July 31, 2015 you will be included in the selection process for the projects highlighted on the outside of the box – this is great advertising, but your photos must be high resolution and top notch! ***

Pattern Submission Checklist:

  • Completed Release Form below
  • Color images of finished project
(This can be the knitted or crocheted item photographed alone or on a model and/or a detail of the fabric or stitches)
Images can be submitted in the following formats:

    • High-quality, high-resolution, digital images via email or CD
Digital images need to be no less than 300 dpi, at least 5″ x 7″ finished size and normal pixelation (i.e. web quality image of 72 dpi cannot be accepted). Images can be in jpg or tif format in appropriate resolution. If you are using your digital camera, go into the settings and choose the highest option they provide and you should be okay. If you are not familiar with image requirements for printing, please read this page!
    • High-quality slide(s), transparencies or photograph(s)
Please note: laser printouts of images will not yield a high enough quality image for publication. Original photography will be returned upon request.  NOTE: In order to uphold the quality of the calendars, the quality of the image(s) provided is an important consideration for inclusion.
    • Send a finished project to be photographed
If you do not feel confident that you can send an image that is appropriate quality, you can send finished projects to be professionally photographed by Accord Publishing. Please include a self-addressed return envelope with postage to ensure prompt return of materials.
  • Full pattern instructions on CD, via email, the form below or hardcopy.
Instructions must include gauge, materials used, finished measurements, skill level and full instructions. Also, please use our list of standard abbreviations that are included in the front of the calendar. If your pattern calls for an abbreviation that is not listed here, please be sure to provide the necessary directions to be included on your pattern sheet.
